I have two large male ferrets. Both are roughly 4-5 years old and healthy. They don't do well with other animals generally. But if you have a big dog that doesn't care about them running around or cats who don't mind being playfully attacked then it shouldn't be a problem. One of them is a rescue and has a few issues (he needs further litter training and is a bit shy) the other is fully litter trained and even knows tricks. I will be moving to Norway and sadly cannot take them with me. They have a 6 foot cage, hammocks, several litter pans, feeding dishes, food + air tight container and litter pellets they go with them for free. They are both friendly but can play rough if you antagonize them. The price is negotiable to the right home. You must have the time and space to give them a healthy, happy environment. I will not give them to people who have extremely busy life styles and clearly fail to care for their current pets. They are very needy animals and require every day attention.
